Ken Emery started his career in landscaping over twenty years ago. Following a keen interest in horticulture he expanded his interest to arboriculture. Ken attended Writtle Agricultural College and obtained his HND in Amenity Horticulture and his RFS Certificate in Arboriculture.

In 1987 Ken established Emery Landscapes Ltd, whose operations include tree surgery, tree dismantling, tree felling and other tree maintenance work. Ken also specialises in domestic and commercial landscape gardening and construction, forestry planting and conservation projects involving woodland management, seeding, fencing and pond construction.

In January 2000 Emery Landscapes were successful in obtaining the Arboricultural Associations Approved Contractor Status - Licence No: AC 1139

Our area of operations for tree surgery, tree maintenance and landscaping covers Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire

Clients include: The National Trust, The Environment Agency, English Nature, Local Authorities, Architects, Developers, Quarrying Companies and last ,but not least, many private customers.

Whilst being the Managing Director of the company, you will still find Ken very much hands on with his involvement in the work on a practical level. He still loves to work on the bigger trees!
